Lexicon PSP 42 is a digital stereo delay and a phrase sampler plug-in which includes VST and RTAS. The tool has high quality signal processing algorithms along with a continuous control of delay time. It features up to 9600 ms of delay time which depends on the internal sampling frequency.

For high absorption modeling the program has a low pass filter. It also supports sampling rates of up to 192 kHz. There are many presets to choose from along with MIDI and VST automation. There is a modulation section with three different modulation signal sources like sinus, square and envelope detector. These sources can be mixed in any proportions.

The tape saturation simulation featured in the program is based on the algorithm which is also used in the line of mastering processors. The program has a tight synchronization to the entire host tempo and its changes involved. A low pass filter is also featured for high frequency absorption modeling. The program is also bundled with a phrase sampler capability.

Lexicon PSP helps the user in generating a variety of delay based effects. It gives pleasing and warm sound effects along with an echo characteristic.
